First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Loya Insuance Group.
Customer Service Representative
The whole thing was about 1-2 hours. First I talked to HR, then they had me come back for a second interview on another day. The first interview was really chill and friendly. When I came back for the second one, it was a bit more serious. The second interviewer asked me a lot about my past and why I left my old jobs, basically wanted to know what my intentions were. But I got the job right then and there.
- What makes you a strong candidate for Loya?
- Why did you leave your old jobs?
- What are your intentions?
Customer Service Representative
First you apply online. Then, if they like your application, they'll give you a call for a pre-screening to check your availability, confirm you want a full-time job, and see if you're okay with the Sales Department. If you're available and can work full-time, they'll set up a 1:1 interview with an Office Sale Manager. Should the Sale Manager think you're a good fit, they'll send you to a second interview with the Regional Manager. If the Regional Manager believes you're a strong candidate, she'll have an HR clerk contact you to extend an offer. They're really just looking for someone who's flexible, has a great personality, and is submissive.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
- What do you know about Fred Loya?
- Are you applying to other jobs right now?
Customer Service Representative
There was a large group interview session for everyone applying. Since I got there early, I had one-on-one interviews. In total, there were 3 interviews within an hour, plus a quick typing test. The first interview was about basic info from my application and explaining company benefits. The second interview was my chance to ask questions and learn more about the job, and I had to talk about my education and work experience here, which was the longest and most important part. The third interview was with the regional manager to talk about my long-term goals.
- Can you demonstrate your Spanish proficiency in conversation?
