Interviews were at the principles discretion, with another admin and department chair present. They were really open and friendly, taking time to see if I'd be a good fit for their school and team.

I was contacted by the director and we set up an interview ASAP with the Assistant Director. When I arrived, I was greeted by the Asst. Director. They asked me to fill out a job application with references. The interview was in the office. Then, I was given a tour of the school. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

I went to a job fair in late winter hoping to get a job for the next school year. I talked with two principals. We chatted about my work history and some general stuff about teaching, like how I handle the classroom, using tech, and working with other teachers. They told me that sometimes at job fairs later in the year, they hire people right away, but since the jobs for the next year weren't posted yet, this was more of an initial screening. They mentioned I could apply online later.
