The interview had 4 stages. First, there was an HR call. Then, a tech round with general discussion and a short coding task focused on problem-solving, not typical LeetCode style. After that, a system design round where I had to design a messaging system. Next, a Team Lead conducted a behavioral interview asking about how I handle specific situations. Finally, there was a round with elements from all previous stages, minus the coding, mainly for final vetting and deeper dives. I liked the flow, it felt new and similar to big tech approaches, but wasn't too hard. Interviewers were nice, open, structured, and polite. The final round felt intentionally a bit off-balance, revisiting earlier topics and questioning my desire to join, and was less structured. I recommend preparing system design well, it really helps.

We start with a recruiter screen to check your background, experience, and if you're a good fit. We'll chat about your career goals, tech skills, and if you know about our company stuff. Then you'll have two technical rounds. Each will have coding, focusing on algorithms, data structures, and making code better. They'll also cover system design – can you build big, fast systems and do you know design patterns? The second tech round gets more advanced with coding for real-world stuff and performance. System design here is about complex systems, keeping them reliable and easy to update. Finally, there's a leadership round. This is high-level system design to see your strategic thinking. We'll also talk about leadership, culture fit, how you communicate, and if you're aligned with our vision.
