It was a short process with a couple of phone calls, but it ultimately didn't go anywhere because of layoffs and a company shift. The manager was nice, but she also didn't seem to know what was going on with the company, which made it hard for her to answer questions.
- Can you describe your process for taking a project from inception to completion?
Consumer Quality Data Representative
The interview process took over a month. First, I had a phone call with a recruiter. Then, a Zoom interview was scheduled. The process was kind of messy and took longer than it should have. After the phone screening, I was told I'd be notified about a Zoom interview. A few weeks passed, and I got an email saying I didn't get the job. Then, a few days later, another email arrived saying the first one was a mistake and they wanted to set up a Zoom interview. I decided to still do it. The interview was about 20 minutes long. I was told I'd hear back by a specific date, but it took a week and an email to get an update, which was that I didn't get the position. It was really disappointing and super frustrating.
- What makes you want this particular job?
Executive Assistant
Recruiter reached out at 5pm PST to schedule an interview. I picked a time and sent it back the next morning but got an 'out of office' reply. Since it wasn't confirmed, I rescheduled after they returned. During the phone screen, they couldn't give details about the job but asked hypothetical questions and wanted my salary range. I mentioned I'd prefer to learn more about the role first but gave a wide range, with the lower end fitting their budget. They said they'd let me know the outcome. A few days later, I checked the application system and saw 'Not Selected' without any notification. It was a disappointing and unprofessional experience.
- Can you tell me about your experience and what your salary range is?

The hiring manager called me first for a phone screen. Then HR reached out and I had a Zoom screening with a recruiter who claimed they'd be my point of contact, but I never heard from them again. After that, another HR person scheduled four 30-min Zoom interviews, split over two days. On the second day of interviews, HR emailed me last minute to add another person to my schedule, so I ended up with three Zoom calls back-to-back. One interviewer was 15 minutes late and gave me their phone number to continue the conversation if I wanted. It took over a month to hear back after that disorganized process, and my follow-up email to HR was completely ignored. I was ghosted.
