It was a friendly interview, with lots of chances to talk about my interest in the job. It felt more like a conversation. It was a panel interview with 3-4 interviewers. They had a set list of questions they wanted to get through, so it's good to have your own questions ready.

I was first contacted by a current intern, which was a bit confusing because I thought they were the interviewer. The building itself is quite intimidating with armed guards, turnstiles, and everyone dressed in business suits. However, meeting the two female interviewers made it less daunting than expected. The interview wasn't too tough, starting with basic questions about myself, my experience, and availability. Then they asked some situational questions, like what to do if a supervisor is away and you need help, and where I see myself in the next 3-5 years. They also mentioned that some candidates have a writing skills test at the end, while others need to bring writing samples. I had the test, which involves using a computer and an audio tape to take notes, and it's not as scary as it sounds. I haven't heard back yet about a decision.

I interviewed with a panel of people who would be my coworkers and my manager. They all took turns asking me questions about my past experiences. Most of the questions were about how I handled different situations. It was a professional setting, but everyone was really friendly.
