I applied online and then got an email from HR for an initial call. The call was about why I'm looking for a change and if I'm interested in joining loopio. The first technical round was a whiteboard interview on MS Word. I was given a question to solve without worrying about a specific language or syntax, which was nice. Afterwards, I discussed solutions and optimization with the interviewer. It seemed to go well, but the interviewer at the end mentioned they were expecting exact code and syntax, and wasn't clear about their expectations for the answer. I got a rejection email a few days later.

We had a phone chat with HR first. Then a technical interview. After that, a top grade interview. It was a really friendly and honest company, they even gave socks after the third interview. They would give the offer in person, which required a third visit to the office. I didn't accept it though, as I had another offer from a more technical company and didn't want to focus on the LAMP stack and a specific business application like RFP response software.

Technical Coding Behavioral

I went through the second round of interviews, which was technical. I felt it went pretty well, probably about 80% good. I managed to solve the coding problem the interviewer gave me, though I missed one part because of time constraints – I couldn't figure out that specific solution at the moment. After that, the interviewer asked about optimization, and I came up with about 4-5 points, which they agreed with about 90%. They also asked if I was okay with working Canadian hours and about an upcoming AI project, which I handled gracefully. I asked for some feedback, and they said I was good overall and understood the basics of how JS works. They acknowledged that I missed one coding part, but agreed it was due to the limited time. The next day, I got an email from HR saying I wasn't selected, which was really disappointing. A few days later, I figured they probably had someone else in mind already. But if that was the case, why even interview me? They could have just not considered my profile. I'm sharing this because I received really positive feedback from the interviewer.
