Worst hiring process and management!!! I applied through LinkedIn. I had a phone screening with the hiring manager, then a phone interview with HR in China. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview in San Ramon. A week after the on-site, they contacted my reference. Then they requested one more phone interview with technical staff in China. Three days after all that, I got a verbal offer from HR and we negotiated compensation. I rejected other offers because of this. But, three weeks later, HR told me the VP didn't authorize the formal offer because I lacked photovoltaics experience... Why not tell me this earlier? Why make an offer if management doesn't agree? This company is irresponsible and has no spirit of contract. Now I have to start looking for jobs again, they wasted one month of my time!!!
