Service Assistant
So, I've worked for Darden before, specifically at Olive Garden, and that was super easy, like hired right away. Longhorn's process though? For this kind of job, it felt like way too much. I had four interviews in total, all in person. Each one was under 15 minutes, though there were delays because the manager kept getting pulled to help out. Two interviews were with one manager, and the other two were with different managers. They all asked pretty much the same stuff. Honestly, even though it was easy, the whole interviewing thing felt like overkill.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a stressful situation at your past jobs.
- What did you study in college?
- What are your aspirations for the future?
Service Assistant
About three days after I applied online, I got an email to set up an interview. When I got there, the manager was super nice and answered all my questions. I also learned that a service assistant can make $12-16 an hour, tips included. You can also be a takeout server and get tips. The vibe was really open and happy.
- What do you consider valid reasons for being late or absent from work?
Service Assistant
I had three interviews in total. The first two were with managers, and the last one was with the general manager. They asked about my experience and why I was interested in working there. Each interview was about 15 minutes long, and the dress code was business casual.
- Can you share an instance where you went above and beyond?
