Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LongHorn Steakhouse.

The interview was easy and covered general questions about my previous experience. They also asked scenario questions about how I would handle certain situations. It was a straightforward interview. Make sure to highlight your multitasking skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
- What would you do if a customer was upset?
- Tell me about your previous work experiences.
- How would you deal with different scenarios that might arise?

The hiring process was very quick, but I felt a bit unwelcome because the manager just stared at me with a blank expression the whole time. They mentioned they'd contact me within a week, but I never heard back, not even an email. It's a waste of time when companies conduct interviews and then don't even send a courtesy email to let you know if you got the job or not.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Server
It was pretty simple. They'll ask about your experience and want you to elaborate. There will be a few corporate driven questions to prep you for some of the training and to gauge your personality. Just dress professionally and show personality! I would say also try and have at least hosting experience or 1 year serving.
- What companies have you worked for in the past?
- Can you tell me more about your previous work experience?
- What are your thoughts on our company's training and culture?
