Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lone Wolf Technologies.
Software Developer
After an initial HR phone screen, I went into the office for interviews with the Engineering Manager and Team Lead. This interview was mostly behavioral, not technical. Finally, there was an online coding test in Java.
- Can you tell me about a mentor who inspired you and what qualities they had?
- How do you manage your own tasks while also assisting colleagues with theirs?
Software Engineer
The interview process is flawed. Before you talk to anyone they send you an IQ test you have to take, which I found extremely offensive. Anyway, I took it, then had an interview with HR, and then a technical interview which was pretty relaxed and had a coding challenge. It would've been a pleasant interview experience if not for the initial test.
- What are your thoughts on general architecture and code?
- Can you complete an easy coding challenge to reverse a string?
Software Engineer
First, an HR call. Then, you have to complete two online assessments: one for cognitive abilities and another for personality. Each assessment takes about 15 minutes, and the goal is to answer as many questions as possible. If you successfully pass these assessments, you'll move on to a technical interview with the development team. The questions in this interview aren't too difficult, just the typical stuff.
- Could you write a JavaScript function to perform a specific task?
