My interview was with my potential bosses, and it was pretty easy but they didn't ask direct questions. They wanted really detailed answers and actually told me I was being too direct. Since I really value efficiency in everything I do, I knew during the interview that I wouldn't be a good fit for that team.

The interview process had 4 stages. The first stage was an online reasoning test. The second was an in-person exam. The third stage was a role-play exercise, which was a bit tricky. I felt the role-play focused too much on knowledge one would only have if trained by TFL, which was unfortunate since they used it to judge role-play rather than actual customer service skills, which is what the job is about.

after submitting the initial application which included a few questions about your competencies, you will have a face-to-face interview. The interview is quite easy and not overly difficult. Make sure you research some of the latest figures and current projects relevant to the London Underground. When you apply for a role at London Underground, do not refer to it as TFL in interviews, as TFL is the larger organization.
