I met with the attorney who trains first-year associates. She seemed a bit brusque and blunt, making some comments that could be seen as a little offensive, but the interview did get better as it went on. It was mostly questions about my background and why I wanted to apply.

I went through two interviews with London Fischer, the second one being with the founder. It was pretty unethical, to be honest. The founder asked about my college extracurriculars and when I mentioned I interned for a Senator from PA, he was very dismissive, saying he had no use for 'such political families.' He then pressed me on my upcoming presidential election vote, clearly showing his disapproval of my liberal/left-leaning views and making me quite uncomfortable. I'd advise avoiding this firm.

Several partners sat with me in a board room and used a Socratic method-type questioning style. I think they believe this is a "real lawyer" interview versus a fancy white shoe law firm type of "get to know you" interview. After working there for several years, I realized I probably did more legal analysis and on the spot thinking in this interview than what was actually required on the job.

I had a nice interview. The head of hiring talked about their mentorship program. I was then informed they'd be going in a different direction.
