The interview process started with a 30 minute phone call, then an on-site interview in Boston that lasted 3 hours with 4 people. I had a job I liked and was just looking around. In the phone interview, I told the interviewer my availability and we set up an interview for 10 AM in Boston. Even though getting into the city at that time was difficult, I planned ahead and took time off work to go. The 4 interviewers asked the same questions to each other and gave very little information about the job when asked. One interviewer was very unwelcoming and made the room uncomfortable. The interview was in mid-August, and it's now September 13th and I still haven't heard back from Lola even after emailing them 48 hours after the interview and again a week later. I would tell anyone thinking about Lola to avoid it. They are unwelcoming and don't seem like a good place to work. Based on how they treat potential employees, I don't think this company will last long in a market that's already saturated with their mediocre product.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online and had to fill out a long application. Then there was a phone interview that lasted an hour with two people. Following that, I had a three-hour interview with five different people. The final interview was conducted 'on chat' where I had to pretend to help a customer. This part was tough because I wasn't given any prep on how to 'service' their customers or any formal guidelines. It was a strange and unprofessional way to do a chat interview, especially since there was no reservation system available, just a blind Google Chat.

After I sent in my application, I got a phone call to talk more about my resume. They seemed keen to discuss the company, but the main focus was on my customer service background.
