Sales Development Representative
First, there was a CV screening with a recruiter from the HR Team. Then, a personal interview with your potential Manager to evaluate your technical skills and probably your cultural fit. After that, a practical exercise where you have to prove your technical skills. You might get an offer (not my case).
- Can you describe your prospecting strategy?
- What are your reasons for seeking a new job?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was pretty standard for an SDR role. I went through a whole multi-stage process, including a take-home task and a panel interview, which was time-consuming. Bizarrely, I was verbally offered a role, which I was thrilled about. However, I was then told I couldn't get a contract due to layoffs and that hiring had to wait. I was assured my start date would be pushed out, and they'd be happy to hire me a month later if I waited. I did wait and turned down another offer, believing this company was good and the offer genuine. But as the date approached, I was suddenly told there was no role, and the person I was dealing with was made redundant. I never heard from the company again. It was a complete waste of my time and theirs.
- What tools have you used?
- What past techniques have been successful for you?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was great and really clear. They communicated quickly between the different steps. Everyone I talked to was professional and transparent, and they did a good job of showing what the company culture is like.
- Can you share what your interests are?
- Could you describe your experience?
- What drives you to apply for this role?
