Customer Success Manager
I applied and heard back from the recruiter about 2 weeks later. We had an initial chat, then I interviewed with the hiring manager, and finished with a cultural interview with some employees. After all that, they checked my references, went silent for a week, and then didn't offer me the job, saying someone with actual CSM experience was a better fit. I'm really bummed because I thought they were open to career changers for this entry-level role, but it seems like they wanted prior experience. I feel like I wasted my time and wouldn't suggest this company.

Customer Success Manager
The recruitment process was virtually non-existent. I reached the final stages only to get an automated rejection email asking me to rate the interview. It seems I wasn't moving forward. The initial interaction with the internal recruiter went smoothly until the role play and the video demo submission. The hiring manager excluded the recruitment manager from email exchanges and failed to acknowledge receipt of the task, which required significant preparation time. Upon receiving the interview feedback survey, I asked the recruiter for clarification. They claimed to have sent a rejection email earlier, which I never received. Given the time invested in studying their documentation and tutorials for the demo, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of a proper rejection communication. This experience reflects poorly on Lokalise's culture and indicates a need for substantial improvement to scale and become a truly international company.

Customer Success Manager
The HR team was super responsive, getting back to me within a day or two after each interview if I moved forward. Everyone I met, from future colleagues to the manager and even the founder, was really nice and asked insightful questions. I actually liked the take-home test; it was cool they wanted to see my work instead of just asking questions like many other places. They were also very open to answering my questions at every step and kept me in the loop the whole time. The process involved: 1. A chat with the recruiter. 2. Meeting with the manager. 3. A meeting with the manager and a team member for a mock customer call. 4. A take-home assignment. 5. A culture interview with a group of people. 6. Discussing the offer.
- What are your thoughts on situational/behavioral scenarios?
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What makes you interested in this company and role?
