I went through a selection process for store manager, which involved 5 interviews over a month. At the end, I was given a link to complete a test and notify them when done. After finishing, I informed the HR person handling the process. She said she would give me the salary proposal the following week, but over a week passed, so I asked if she had an update. She gave another deadline and then disappeared. Great way to create engagement!

Right after I mentioned living abroad for the last 2 years, the recruiter told me they needed someone who had been in Brazil for the past year and experienced the pandemic here. I was pretty surprised by that since my resume clearly states this info. I guess they should have checked the details more carefully before reaching out and inviting me to interview.
