First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LogRhythm.
Software Engineer
I first talked to the recruiter at a college career fair, gave them my resume, and a couple weeks later got an email for a phone interview. I was told to apply on their website first. The phone interview was only behavioral questions. A week after that, the recruiter called again for a phone technical interview with more questions about operating systems and threads. Another week later, they sent a coding exercise to gauge my problem-solving approach; it was open-ended but simple. About a week after the coding exercise, I was invited for the final in-person interview at the site. This involved four 30-minute interviews covering technical and behavioral topics, with a focus on problem-solving skills. I received an offer the next business day.
- Can you create an algorithm to determine if one string is a substring of another, and what is its Big O complexity?
Software Engineer
I got an offer after two rounds of interviews and had responded to their inquiry. I declined it though because I wasn't really impressed with their engineering manager. Some of the questions they asked made me doubt the company's integrity.

Software Engineer
I spoke with about 7 or 8 people, with 2 or 3 interviewers in each meeting. The vibe was really positive; everyone seemed genuinely enthusiastic about where the company is headed. They asked really sharp, detailed questions, showing they're serious about building a strong team. The work sounds like it'll be demanding and varied, and LogRhythm seems like a solid place to advance a career, especially with how fast they're growing right now.
- Can you explain the distinctions between implicit and explicit interface implementation in C#?
