The interview was smooth and easy. They were welcoming and open to talking. They seemed prepared and knew my background. They asked good questions related to the role and followed up on them. They gave me time to think. I was able to answer their questions. It was a good conversation.

So I applied with a cover letter and an internal referral. Then, I was asked to come in for a group interview with the Marketing Technology Team, which had about 8 people. It was an open format where I talked about my experience and answered questions. After that went well, I was asked to come back for some timed tests: a market knowledge test, a basic HTML test, and the Wonderlic test. Those seemed okay, so then I had to do a typing speed test and create a detailed technology report comparing two analytics platforms. After that, I was asked to interview with the promotions team, but I didn't really connect with that person. I never heard back from Logos after that.

First up was a phone interview, mostly just to confirm you're alive, know a little about computers and customer service. Then came a panel interview with some future coworkers, a manager or two, and the top boss. They usually ask questions to get you talking about tech or other stuff you're really into. They also want to see how you handle customers. If they think you're a good fit, there's usually a hands-on test at the end. Basically, they want someone smart, passionate, and who gets things done. Knowing specific tech isn't always the be-all and end-all. Sometimes there's a chat with the CEO after the panel, and sometimes not.

I applied on Craigslist with my resume, cover letter and writing samples and heard back in about a week. The first step was a 30-minute phone call with a team leader where we chatted about my background and skills. After that, I got a "Marketing Assessment" to test my business and marketing knowledge, plus an online typing test. A week after submitting those, I had a panel interview which lasted 25 minutes. It was with the team leader, marketing director, and someone new to the company. The director asked most of the questions, but it wasn't very structured. He mentioned they hired a lot of people recently. I followed up and was told they were still deciding, and then I got a standard rejection email.
