First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Logitech.
User Experience Designer
The process started with a UX design lead round focusing on skills and background, where they mentioned personality fit for subsequent rounds. Then there was a round with a UX engineer and another with a UX designer, both seemingly focused on personality. It was initially planned for two rounds, but due to one interviewee not attending the second round, another one was scheduled.
- Can you walk us through your portfolio?
- What are your thoughts on your role within a team?
- Tell us about your background.
UX Designer
I had two interviews, first with HR and then with the Hiring Manager. They were both really nice and friendly. We talked about my previous experience, the job itself, and the company culture at Logitech. The Hiring Manager said he'd make a decision the next day, but it's been three weeks and I'm still waiting for an update. The hiring platform still shows 'in process', which I find quite unprofessional.
- Can you introduce yourself and walk me through your previous work experience?
- What led you to pursue a career in UX design?
- Could you describe your typical role within a team?
UI/UX Designer
It was a good interview. They had me do a portfolio walkthrough and asked me questions about my experience during a few interviews. I went over a specific case study and discussed my design rationale. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Could you describe a particular case study in detail?
- Tell me about your background and experience.
- What was your reasoning behind the design decisions in that case study?
