Got an email about an initial HR call. Interviewed with a hiring manager on Friday. Sent a take-home test to do over the weekend, due Sunday morning. They didn't reply after submission. After inquiring, it took them three weeks to evaluate my test and give positive feedback, then went silent again. Later, HR sent an email saying they were impressed by my credentials but chose other candidates, citing technical gaps in my coding assignment. They wished me luck and encouraged me to check their website for more opportunities. It seems like a generic email, especially since they loved my implementation but then pointed out gaps.
