I had a phone call with the recruiter and then two interviews with the manager. It was pretty standard for a PM role. The recruiter call was short, just asking about my background.

The interview process was straightforward with fair questions about product sense, development experience, and cross-functional team interaction. It started with a hiring manager interview, followed by a panel of 4 engineers, and concluded with the head of product. Post-interview, I received a verbal offer, but the recruiter mentioned issues with the job req that would be fixed shortly. After a week with no updates, I reached out and was told the job was cancelled due to the unapproved req and lack of budget. My advice is to verify if the job is truly valid and has budget approval.

Case Presentation

Applied for a role in Jan, but didn't get selected. Later, the hiring manager reached out about a new position, saying I was too late for the previous one as an offer was already made. Had 2 phone interviews with him and a case presentation at HQ in Lausanne. After that, I was left in the dark with no response from the hiring manager. I even tried cc'ing the HR person from the LinkedIn post, but got the same result... completely ghosted, not even a generic email. Really disappointed!
