AI/ML Intern
The interview was conducted over zoom with 2 interviewers for 50 minutes. One interviewer focused on general ML topics, while the other covered sound processing and ML. They asked some basic questions that weren't too difficult, and the interviewers were pleasant and didn't apply excessive pressure.
- Can you explain what an RNN is?
- What is LSTM?
- Could you describe a Gated Recurrent Unit?
Intern
The first step was a basic aptitude test with 40 questions and a 1-hour time limit. Most questions were quite easy, with scores above 30 being common (I got 33). Those who passed then had a technical test covering fundamental OS and computer science concepts, which wasn't too hard if your basics were strong. Finally, candidates who passed that round had a one-on-one interview with the Tech Lead's Manager. That was it, and shortly after, they called to offer me the position.
- Questions about probability were challenging.
- Some technical questions were very basic but still difficult.
Intern
I applied online and then a few days later I followed up. Shortly after that, I had a Skype interview. The interview was conducted by someone from Logitech's European outsourcing office and it felt poorly structured. The interviewer was cold and somewhat snide throughout. I asked some questions about Logitech, but my inquiries were met with snide answers that made me feel unintelligent. Overall, it was a bad experience.
- Could you tell me about your most recent internship experience?
- Do you speak German?
