Behavioral Technical Presentation

I cleared the initial screening. Then I had a good second round with the hiring manager who was happy with my answers and moved me to the final round. The final round interviewer, an executive, really grilled me about having multiple degrees, emphasizing that experience is more important. While I agree experience is key, for an entry-level role, you can't expect someone to have executive-level experience.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What was the reasoning behind your multiple degrees?
  • Can you explain how you would go about promoting a product?
  • What's your strategy for convincing a CMO to allocate a budget?

Behavioral Technical

The interview process seemed straightforward, they went through all the rounds and inquired about my salary expectations and joining time. Everything seemed finalized, but then they stopped responding properly. I followed up for three more weeks, and they cited a headcount survey. Suddenly today, they informed me that my application was not moving forward. It feels like they wasted my time; if I wasn't shortlisted after the technical round, they should have informed me then instead of taking me through all the rounds.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about your basic finance knowledge?
  • Do you have knowledge about other accounting stuff?
