I went through 3 interviews. The first two were identical with the same interviewer, focusing mostly on behavioral questions. It was funny because the interviewer asked me the same things as the previous week. After that, I had a somewhat more technical interview, and the interviewer seemed positive about moving forward. I never heard back, and my emails to the recruiter went unanswered, which was a big waste of my time.

This hiring process stretched a bit longer for me, partly due to my own timing. I found the opening via a third-party recruiter and first spoke with two people. Next, I was assigned a coding challenge, which was tough but manageable. After they reviewed it and gave me the go-ahead, I had another interview with two people, a relaxed technical chat about the coding challenge and my past technical work. The final stage was a two-hour session with five or six interviewers, focusing more on my cultural fit and my background.

The interview process was great! There were 4 steps in total. The first was to speak with a Technical Recruiter and then the Engineering Hiring Manager about my background, what languages I knew, as well as some behavioral based questions. The second step was a take-home coding challenge. This was for the backend and more on the intermediate level, but they give you a week to complete it and will provide whatever feedback you need. The third step is to meet with the CTO and a developer in your current role to have a code review. This is less about presenting your code and more-so about the processes that led you to the solution as well as what you're most proud of and what you could have done differently. They make a decision quickly after the take home assignment and you will be invited to an on-site. This was supposed to be a 4 hour on-site meeting with the CEO, CTO, CPO, and dev team, but due to COVID everything was virtual. There is an overview of the company and product and then I met with the CEO and the Hiring Manager where I received an offer. Overall, pretty quick and easy process and they provide great feedback along the way.
