First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Logic Information Systems.
Associate Consultant
I got the job offer via Campus recruitment. First, there was an aptitude test, followed by a group discussion on general topics. Those who got selected then had an interview that lasted about 40-45 minutes with two interviewers. They asked me basic questions about my course, then we discussed their company and the retail industry, and I asked for more details about the company's operations.
- Can you tell me which course you are from?
- Please introduce yourself.
- What does your course involve?
Associate Consultant
I went to a hiring event with about seven other people. It lasted about two hours, and we all rotated through four different activities. First, we had to write instructions for an everyday task in about five to ten minutes. Then, we did a "white boarding" exercise where we had to explain a major life decision, using the whiteboard to show how we made it. The last two parts were 30-minute one-on-one interviews. One was a standard interview about my experiences and skills, and the other was about my general views on the retail industry. Everyone was really nice and made me feel comfortable, which took away a lot of the stress. It felt like they really wanted me to do well.
- Can you share a bad experience you had as a customer with a retailer? What made it bad, and how could the retailer have made it better?
Business Consultant
So, a current employee at Logic recommended me and I was contacted right away by a Recruitment Specialist. We chatted in-depth about my past experience, my knowledge of Oracle RMS, and implementing projects. Then, about two weeks later, I had my second interview with a Senior Consultant who dug deeper into the applications and processes I've worked with. The third interview was also a couple of weeks after that with the Principal Consultant, and this one focused a lot on leadership, teamwork, and communication.
