The interview process was quick and had two parts. I had to wait a bit for the interviewer since they were busy, so I'd suggest arriving early. I showed up 15 minutes before both scheduled times, but they were only available about 30 minutes after. It was a two-part interview process, and since the interviewer was busy, I recommend coming in early. I arrived 15 minutes before both interviews and was seen about 30 minutes late for each.

It's a really easy and straightforward process. Usually just one interview, though sometimes there are two. The managers are cool and tell you straight up what they're looking for. If you can't be super flexible with your availability, especially on weekends, it's probably not gonna happen.

They called and set a time and date for me to come in. When I arrived, I was asked to wait and the manager would be with me shortly. He took a little while to get to me, but that was fine. We sat in a quiet booth at the restaurant and he asked me some basic questions. Then he asked me what I would have changed at previous jobs and what I was looking for in this role. He also included fun questions like “If you had a superpower, what would it be?” He was very nice, I enjoyed the interview.

I applied online through a recruitment agency called Gecko Hospitality. The application was pretty standard, requiring basic info and an online assessment. About 3-4 days after applying, I got a call to schedule an interview with someone from the company's HR. Nobody on the current staff seemed to know who I was meeting with, but eventually, I was directed to him in a quiet corner of the dining room. We started with some general questions, then moved into more specific ones about P&L management and financial details from my past jobs. After the interview, I had to fill out a physical application, and they said they'd make an offer in 1-2 days if I was selected.
