First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lodha.
Sales Consultant
It was pretty straightforward. They asked about my background, my strengths, my ideal sales process, how I've handled sales challenges, and how I leveraged existing customer data to drive business.
- Can you walk me through your resume and describe your previous role?
- What are your greatest strengths?
- Describe your approach to sales.
Construction Manager
So it was a direct interview, with at least 3 technical rounds followed by an HR interview. The technical rounds had three team members who really knew their stuff about construction. Then there was another round where they mostly asked about my past projects. The last round focused on common construction industry standards and any challenges I'd faced executing projects and how I handled them.
- What is your core competency and how would you approach working with consultants and contractors?
- Could you elaborate on your core competency and how you manage relationships with consultants and contractors?
Assistant Manager
Just a heads up, don't bother applying or going for an interview at Lodha Group in Pune (Baner office). The HR and interviewers there are really bad and rude. They already have their favorites and will cut you off during the interview. My experience was truly pathetic. Don't waste your time with this group, despite the big name. The management and hiring folks are not good people to work with.
- Were they more interested in your personal life questions?
- Did they hardly ask any technical round questions?
Commercial Analyst
It had 3 rounds. First was HR, covering basic info, checking if my resume matched the job, and some personality/psychological tests. Then, a Manager & VP asked about accounts and some tricky client handling/site management questions. They also wanted examples of improvements I made at previous companies. For higher roles (Commercial Officer, CFO, CEO), they get involved and ask about Accounting Standards, give more details about the site and its challenges, and might ask tricky personality questions or questions about past assignments, college projects, contributions to past employers, MIS, or cash flow.
- What is your knowledge of accounting, including accounting entries for various transactions and accounting standards?
- Can you explain the accounting entries for Fixed Assets?
- What are the accounting entries for Customer Building CAM and Federation CAM?
