The interview process requires FOUR interviews. It starts with HR, then you go to the Team Manager, then the Director of Global Support Services, and finally a C-level exec. All the interviews are one-on-one. They are usually spaced a few business days apart, so my process took over two weeks. I got through 3 interviews before being declined after the Global Manager level. They would not give me a clear answer about pay, and I'm pretty sure that's why I was declined since I asked about it in all three interviews. Their website said '$35K–$85K annually,' HR said '50-60k a year + 12% customer success bonus, paid out twice a year,' the Team Manager said '$72k/year + the bonus,' and the Director of Global Support had no answer. If you don't hear back within two days of an interview, you probably weren't selected.

After my first chat, they brought up the salary and it was way lower than market. They said they'd see if they could adjust the budget or find other roles for me, and would get back to me. I thought it ended well and expected an update. After a long wait and me reaching out, they told me they went with other people, which was totally not what we talked about.

So I went through five rounds total. First up was a video call with HR, mostly about work sponsorship and location stuff. Then I had another chat with HR and my current manager, which was more relaxed. We covered basics like 'Tell me about yourself,' my past automation experience, the tech I've used, and details about the job like working hours. After that, I had a technical interview with the VP, which was pretty tough. He dug into SQL, REST APIs, and message queues, checking not just my knowledge but how well I could explain things. There was also a data structures question in that round. About a week later, I talked to the project manager and scrum master – a chill conversation, no technical stuff. The last one was with a senior team member who was really sharp technically. We talked about tools like Postman, messaging, and logging. Right after that, HR let me know I got the job.

I applied online and had a phone screen followed by an interview with the hiring manager. Things seemed to be going well, and the HM mentioned it might take a bit to hear back. Then, my recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn asking me to apply for the same role I'd already interviewed for. I let him know I'd already gone through the interview process. He apologized and said I'd get an update in a few days. It's been almost a month since then, and my weekly follow-up emails have gone unanswered. It felt like the most disrespectful interview process I've experienced.
