First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lockton Companies.
Intern
Had a phone interview first, then an in-person interview. It lasted about an hour and was mainly behavioral questions. I was expecting more technical ones but didn't get any. The interviewers were nice, but for a small office, it felt like they weren't really looking to hire an intern.
- What is your greatest strength?
Intern
After submitting my resume and cover letter, the interview process had three steps. It started with a group interview, then an individual one with HR, followed by a final interview with an associate. The group interview was challenging to prepare for because the task wasn't revealed until the interview started. The other two interviews had more standard questions.
- Can you describe a significant challenge encountered in a past project and explain your strategy for resolving it?
Intern
First, we'll do a basic introduction where you'll tell us about yourself. Then, we'll dive into questions about why you're interested in joining us and which departments you're considering. It's important to show you have a good grasp of the industry and our firm, so you can explain what we do here.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- What makes you want to join us?
- Which departments are you interested in?
