Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lockton Companies.
Financial Analyst
So I had a two-part phone screen process, and then I went in for an in-person interview. The phone screens were pretty standard difficulty-wise, but the in-person one was definitely on the tougher side. Before the in-person part, they had me do a personality assessment and a skills test that was pretty relevant to the job. I did some research on Lockton beforehand, specifically for the Denver office, and saw on Glassdoor where people mentioned searching "lockton employees leave" online. It was good that I looked.
- Can you share an instance from your previous work where you encountered a difficulty?
- What would you have done differently in that past work experience situation?
- In hindsight, how could you have handled that situation more effectively?
Financial Analyst
It was an online process starting with HR and then with the area manager. It was quite relaxed, with a calm atmosphere that also made us feel relaxed. It was a chat about professional experience, career, studies, and the role.
- Could you tell me about your professional experiences and yourself?
- What about your career and studies?
- And about the position itself?
Financial Analyst
I had an initial chat, then met with the manager, and after that, I had two more interviews with team members. It felt very conversational and informative, not really technical, just casual chats. After the interviews, they extended an offer.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in Lockton?
