Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LLR Partners.
Intern
The interview process started with an online round, followed by an in-person superday at the Philadelphia office. Most interviews were with the team, but HR was involved throughout. I also met other candidates during lunch on the in-person superday.
- Could you talk about one of your passions for about 2-3 minutes?
Intern
I found out about the internship through a campus listing. The first step was a campus recruitment event where I met a really nice recruiter for a fit interview. They asked me some questions about how to value a company. After that, I had a super day at their Philadelphia office. All three interviews there were pretty easy and focused on fit. I talked to an analyst, an associate, and a partner. They seemed genuinely interested, and I got a call with an offer just a few hours after leaving.
- How would you go about valuing Build-A-Bear?
- Can you describe your approach to company valuation?
Intern
The interview process started with an initial chat with an associate, who was very welcoming and focused on assessing cultural fit. The second interview was also with an associate, equally welcoming, and delved more into what unique contributions you could make to the company. The final stage was a 'Super day,' designed to evaluate your potential fit within the existing team.
- Can you share your motivations for wanting to join LLR?
- What are your passions?
- What skills have you acquired?
