Applied online and saw the salary upfront, which was cool. Had a team interview and then some face-to-face interviews. It took ages though, so I bailed.

The interview process was an online assessment centre with 4 rounds, running from 9 am to 4 pm. It included a group discussion focused on teamwork, a one-on-one interview with strength-based questions about encouraging team members and confidence, and a presentation round where a general topic with material was given for presentation after 10-20 mins of prep time, focusing on communication and confidence. There was also a micro-exercise with 4 parts, covering time management, employee value, and flowchart enhancement. I found the process very hectic. Lunch and a QA with a current apprentice took 1 hour. There was an interview panel of nearly 8 members, and I noticed a lack of diversity. I was rejected for not appearing confident enough and not being able to add more value to the business. Ultimately, I didn't feel I missed a significant opportunity, apart from the work-from-home aspect.

So first, you apply online, submitting your CV and some questions specific to the role. Then there are online tests – numerical, verbal reasoning, and situational judgment. After that, a short 10-15 min screen call with a recruiter to go over your background and see if you're a good fit. Next, a video interview where you'll answer pre-recorded competency questions and "why data analytics?" questions. The main part is the Assessment Day: there's a group case exercise, a data-focused case study you'll work on, a presentation, and a 1:1 with the hiring manager. Finally, a technical deep-dive focusing on SQL/Python and a chat about cultural fit, and then hopefully an offer.
