Senior Consultant
It started with a screening call, then a technical interview that could have been virtual or in person. Mine was planned for in-person, but had to be changed because of meeting conflicts, so they rescheduled it as a virtual round.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about the technologies you've worked with?
- What distinguishes Runnable from Callable in Java?
- Could you explain the difference between a HashSet and an ArrayList?
Consultant
The process started off a bit rough but got smoother after the initial rounds. It involved standard questions about data analysis and what I bring to the table. The job description and expectations were communicated clearly and transparently. The testing focused on the skills mentioned, using logical reasoning. It was great that they respected everyone's input and welcomed extra questions and insights.

Customer Advisor
I had a quick 10-minute phone chat that covered why I wanted the job and some behavioral questions. After that, they invited me to an assessment day. There, I had a face-to-face interview, which was pretty similar to the phone one. Then, I did a role-play, pretending to make two phone calls to see how I'd handle them. I felt good about the interview and got offered the job the same afternoon. I actually had other interviews planned for the next few weeks, but I cancelled them once I got the offer. It turns out, two weeks later, I got a letter from Lloyds saying the offer was off the table because of my credit score. I was told they were just checking for CCJs, which I don't have, but now I'm jobless and really upset about how I was treated.
