Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LIVESTRONG.
Intern
So I had a phone interview. I spoke with the Director of People and some folks from the department I was eyeing. It's an internship, so they weren't expecting me to be an expert. They really wanted to know about my interest in LIVESTRONG specifically, like their mission and culture, and why I wanted to be part of their work to fight cancer.
- What are your goals for this internship experience?
Intern
I submitted my application online. A recruiter then contacted me to inform me that I had been selected for an interview. The interview itself took place the following week, and I received an offer the day after. The whole process felt quite laid-back. The interviewers were really friendly and put me at ease throughout. I spoke with two interviewers.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
- What makes you want to work for this company?
Intern
The interview process was pretty chill, honestly. I didn't feel too stressed because everyone was super welcoming. I could tell right away it'd be a good team to be a part of.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- What about working here interests you?
- How do you think your skills could help the company?
