The interview process started with a good and timely recruiter phone screening. After about a week, I had a hiring manager interview that was fine. Then, two weeks passed before I heard back about the full loop interviews. I gave my availability, but the interviews were scheduled and then cancelled due to conflicts, which was a bit odd. Finally, the full loop interviews were scheduled. The first one was with an ELT member who was late and needed time to set up. We talked briefly about the company's products, and then he asked me technical questions. He was cold and impersonal, making it hard to explain my skills. He asked what TAMs do at my current job, which was a strange question since I'm not on that team. Around 40 minutes into the hour-long interview, he said I wasn't qualified. I confirmed his role and ended the interview. It was unprofessional to drag out the process if he felt I wasn't qualified from the start, especially when others thought I was. I withdrew my application and told the recruiters about the bad experience. Liveperson needs to improve its recruiting practices to attract good talent, and candidates should watch out for red flags like slow responses and poor experiences.

The process had these steps: A phone chat, then an office interview, then a technical test at home, then another interview, and finally an HR chat. All the interviews were really professional and the interviewers were super nice, always explaining things. After all those steps, the interviewers get together to talk about how I did and decide if they'll hire me.
