Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Live Nation Entertainment.
Software Engineer
The hiring process felt very professional and organized. The people I met were nice and explained things clearly. It was a good overall experience and I got a good feel for the company's culture and what they value.
- Can you walk us through your professional history?
Software Engineer
It was a junior level position, I had a phone interview first, then skype with coding questions. They wanted another interview with another manager. The interview started, she had to leave because of a production issue. We rescheduled for the next day. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to have a computer because I was working. I told her to reschedule for another interview just for coding (because she already did the technical interview twice). She said yes, definitely, I will tell HR to contact you. I waited for a week for a response. After the 8th day, I got a call. They moved to another candidate because she couldn't do the coding interview and wasn't sure. Their hiring process is horrible.
- What is the difference between a clustered and unclustered key in SQL?
Software Engineer Intern
I applied for the internship through my school's career center and heard back for an interview within a week. The entire interview process was a single on-site interview held in Hollywood. I met with managers from three different technical teams, with each meeting lasting about 20 minutes. Everything felt really relaxed and went well. It was pretty cool, as I even had a chat with one of the managers out on the patio.
