Administrative Assistant
The interview process was quick and easy, and I got hired within two weeks after the interview. The company could improve its onboarding process for departments, but overall it was a positive experience.
- What skills do you possess that would benefit this position?
Administrative Assistant
I was contacted by the hiring manager about the job and sent my resume to them. After they got it, a recruiter reached out to schedule my first interview. I met with two directors in person for the first interview. Then, I had a second interview with the hiring manager over the phone. It was a good experience overall, though things moved a bit slowly. The recruiter wouldn't negotiate salary, which was annoying then. After starting and working hard, I got offered advancement opportunities.
- What about this role sparked your interest?
Administrative
I applied for an administrative role and before the first interview, they made me take an online assessment. It had multiple parts and about 200 questions. I think it was a general assessment for any job at the company, not specific to this role. I wasn't ready to spend over four hours on an assessment, phone calls, and an interview just to find out it was an entry-level job. I've never had to spend so much time on an assessment, especially for an entry-level position. The interviewers were nice and asked pretty standard questions. Also, I emailed HR with a question and never heard back, and they didn't even let me know I wasn't selected.
