Software Engineer
We had 3 rounds total. First was an online test that was moderately difficult, average difficulty. They shortlisted 50 people out of 600 and had us create a PPT about ourselves. Round 2 was a group discussion, which wasn't an elimination round. For round 3, half of us had a combined technical and HR interview, while the other half had two separate interviews, one for technical and one for HR. The interviewers were super friendly and made me feel comfortable, it was one of the chillest interviews I've had, felt more like a chat. They asked stuff about my resume, my projects, and some HR questions. We also had to present the PPT we made. Everything went smoothly. Then I signed the offer letter for the Samurai Programmer role.

- What do you understand by OOPS?
- Tell us about your project.

The hiring process included 3 rounds. The first round was a written test with basic aptitude and logical questions. You had to write down the answers on a separate sheet. The questions were not super hard, but some required a good amount of math. The second round was an HR interview, which was quite straightforward, covering things like family background, your interest in the company, and if you were okay with their 18-month service agreement. The third round was a technical interview. ECE folks had a special panel for puzzles and math problems, while IT and CSE students were grilled on sorting algorithms and OOPS concepts.
- Were you asked any questions about SOA, and were they basic and easy despite being unexpected?
- What questions were asked about SOA?

First students were shortlisted based on CGPA. Then an online coding test with easy array questions was conducted. Selected candidates were asked to prepare an introduction ppt. On the interview day, there was a pre-placement talk about the company. After that, a group discussion was held with two topics. I chose "monetization through digital media creations like youtube." Around 10 people were in the group, and it was a non-elimination round. Then, 3 panels conducted interviews. I was called in at 5:10 pm by one of the panels. Two members, one technical and one HR, greeted me and asked me to sit. They introduced themselves and asked me to introduce myself using the intro ppt I had submitted. The interview lasted for an hour and was very interactive.

- A question regarding file management was asked.
- Questions about your hobbies were asked.
