Linqia Software Engineer Interview Questions
& Process

I applied online and a Software Engineering Manager reached out for a first round telephonic interview. He talked about Linqia's work and asked me technical questions. Then, he asked me to schedule a second round, which was a 1.5-hour online coding session. It involved a LeetCode hard question and an easy one. Unfortunately, I was rejected the next day because I didn't solve the hard question within the expected time complexity.

Applied online and then the hiring manager reached out for an initial phone interview. The first round involved the manager discussing their products and tech stack, followed by some technical questions. This call was about 1 hour 15 minutes. Next, there was a coding round with an engineer over the phone using Coderpad where I had to solve 3 programming questions of varying difficulty. I managed to solve all of them. After that, the manager emailed about 4 one-hour interviews on Google Hangouts. The first hangout was with the hiring manager again, focusing on resume technologies and their stack. The second and fourth hangouts were with team engineers, involving Coderpad coding questions (medium level). The third hangout also included SQL query questions alongside coding. The day after these, I was contacted for an interview with the VP of engineering who asked more technical questions. About a week later, I was scheduled for an interview with the CEO, which got cancelled and rescheduled twice. The hiring manager then extended an offer, but I had to decline because the salary was lower than initially discussed.

After getting through the initial screening and a phone interview where we did a shared screen coding exercise, I got an email saying they wanted to move forward. They asked for my availability for the onsite interview, which I provided along with some questions I had. But, they never replied. All my communication was directly with the Manager via email, and he just stopped responding. I didn't even get a rejection. I've heard of companies backing out of offers before, but completely ghosting candidates was a new one for me with this company.
