First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Linqia.
Influencer Marketing Talent Associate
The initial hiring call was quite chaotic and lacked professionalism. The interviewer asked typical questions like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'Why Linquia?', and 'What salary are you expecting,' but it was tough to keep up because of a loud background, constant audio glitches, and the interviewer mentioning they were entering an elevator mid-conversation. The whole experience felt unfocused and not very serious.

Influencer Marketing Campaign Associate
I had a 20 minute phone interview with Melanie. It was pretty good and she was very friendly, there was lots of conversation about the culture at Linqia and opportunities for advancement. Entry level position was starting at $50k with a $5k raise every 6 months for 2 years, ending up with a $70k salary, which sounded pretty good.

Brand Success Manager
Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter. The first 3 rounds of the interview went fine. The last round was a presentation of a pitch, and they recorded the whole session. In the end, there was no offer. The salary offered was pretty low, around $48K/year. I am graduating in 2 months and they knew I am still in college. If they were good with the first 3 rounds, they could easily train someone who wants to learn, even if the pitch was not up to their expectations. It shows they do not want to mentor new graduates. Not a good company to start my career, very disappointed.
- Basic marketing questions were asked
- A pitch presentation was required as the 4th round of the interview
Influencer Success Manager
The hiring manager first contacted me on LinkedIn. We then had a phone call, after which a recruiter took over and arranged several phone and Zoom interviews with different team members and eventually the CEO. The whole process was quite lengthy and a bit unusual, with a lot of uncertainty about the role itself. The conversation with the CEO was particularly uncomfortable; it felt more like an interrogation than an interview. I was supposed to proceed to a final stage where I would have presented a report from my current job, which contains my employer's proprietary information. The hiring team and CEO were expected to act as clients and ask questions throughout this presentation to assess my skills. I suspect they were mainly looking for insights into how other companies handle influencer strategies. I decided not to continue with the process.
