Account Executive
The interview process involved normal sales questions. The recruiter was a good guy. We discussed why sales and why I'm leaving my current role. It started with a phone interview and then I met with the VP of Sales. They want everyone in the office every day in Boston.
- Why are you interested in sales?
- Why are you looking to move on from your current position?
- Why are you interested in LinkSquares?
Account Executive
I had a few phone calls with the recruiter, then an in-person interview with some employees. The process itself was okay, but they were really misleading. I was told I didn't need closing experience and they thought I could do well. They acted like they were happy with me (even asked if I'd accept an offer if they could get the team together) and said they'd call me that week with a decision. I had to reach out a week later and was told via email I didn't get the job because I lacked closing experience. Pretty disappointed with how it all went down.

Account Executive
It was a pretty typical interview process. Started with a recruiter call to discuss the role. Then, I had an in-person interview that lasted about 1.5 hours with three Sales Directors. The first director was a little late but we had a good conversation and I got immediate feedback. The second director was also great, we had a casual chat and they were upfront about some resume concerns, giving me a chance to address them. However, the third director made the experience less than ideal. They seemed rushed, constantly checking their watch during our short meeting. They asked very basic, rapid-fire questions and gave short, unhelpful answers to mine. I felt like I was bothering them. To top it off, they just left at the end, leaving me to find my way out, which added to the negative impression.
