First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Linedata.
Software Engineer
So, first there was like this HR call where they asked about my background and what I expect salary-wise. After that, I had to do a technical test that covered Java, SQL, and algorithms. Then, I had a technical chat with a senior dev, and finally, I talked to the manager. The whole thing was pretty straightforward, professional, and organized.
- Did you complete the technical test and the HR test?
- Tell me about your background and salary expectations.
Senior Software Engineer
HR called, and my resume was shortlisted. The interview was scheduled for two weeks later. HR mentioned there would be a total of three rounds, and all of them were technical. The interviewers seemed unprepared and unsure of the questions, randomly asking things they found on Google. I wouldn't recommend this company's interview process if you don't want to waste your time; it felt like they were using it to improve their own interview skills.
- Can you explain OOPS concepts?
- What are your experiences with Design Patterns?
- Have you utilized specific design patterns in your work?
Software Developer
The interview was easy with common questions. The test assignment was also easy. I got a call even though I solved fewer questions than expected. There were 2 technical rounds and 1 managerial round. Technical round 1 was a test, and technical round 2 was an interview. The managerial round was mainly about my resume and why I want to join the company.
- Manager, employee, and joining the company
- SQL question
