Marketing Assistant
I got an email asking if I was a fit and to interview, but the link didn't work and they basically said 'hurry up' because there were so many applicants. I scheduled it anyway. I got there 10 mins early, and nobody even acknowledged me for a minute. Someone finally asked why I was there, and after I said I was interviewing, I had to fill out a bunch of forms. They left the forms on a desk and didn't touch them for like 45 mins to an hour. Turns out they make multiple people come in at the same time for 15-20 min interviews. If you're last, you wait forever, which they do on purpose. I should've left then. The interview was pretty basic, just asked about my experience and what I'd bring to the company. But the kicker is, because it's direct marketing, the 'second interview' is a full day of working for free. That didn't seem worth it, so I passed. Just be aware of that if you apply. If that sounds cool, go for it, but I wasn't impressed with how unprofessional they were, especially making you wait so long for such a quick chat.
- What is your understanding of this company?
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What unique value would you contribute to this company?

The interview process was horrible, and a HUGE time commitment. They had me come in for an interview, and then made me schedule an interview for the very next day, without any previous notice. The follow-up interview was over 7 hours long. Without giving you the position, they have you come in for an all-day shadow, in which you go door-to-door advocating for a company. This was not at all what I read in the job description on LinkedIn, and they did not inform me that this was what I would be doing in the primary interview either. They also had me use my own car to drive around and go door-to-door. On top of all that, they pushed back the interview an entire hour, giving me 10 minutes notice, right before the original start time of my interview. Terrible experience.
- In what ways can my skills contribute to achieving the company's objectives?
Marketing Assistant
So, there are usually 3 rounds for the interview. The first round is pretty general, mostly based on your resume. Then the second round is where you shadow the job and have an interview. You get to ask any questions you have about the job, and you spend a full day with the person who would be your leader. The third and final round involves answering a questionnaire about what you've learned about the job, the company's basic principles, and if you're comfortable with the position.
- Can you describe what leadership qualities entail?
