Business Development
This was probably the worst interview experience ever. It started with a 45-minute recruiter call, which felt pretty standard. But then things got unprofessional, with follow-up scheduling happening via WhatsApp, even on weekends. I had a second 1-hour interview with the country director, and he said feedback from the recruiter would come soon. Later, the recruiter messaged asking if I was free for a follow-up, I said yes, but they never showed up or responded, even after I saw they'd read my messages. They then ghosted me completely. After months of trying to reach them, I never got any feedback. Honestly, don't waste your time with this process.

- Describe the strategies you typically employ.
Business Development Manager
The interview process spanned about three weeks and was a great experience. It began with a screening call. This was followed by a meeting with the Regional Sales Manager and a Senior BDM for the region, which gave me good insights into the company's culture, solutions, strategies, and daily work. The next step was a Discovery/Demo and an action plan presentation where I could show my abilities. The final stage was a fourth meeting. Throughout, the company culture was really evident, with conversations feeling open and engaging, showing they wanted to know me. They seemed to be looking for people who fit their culture and values.
- Can you discuss your experience in sales and hospitality?
- What is your action plan for the first 3, 6, and 9 months?
- Can you tell us about yourself?
Business Development Manager
I had an initial chat with a freelance recruiter who seemed to lack knowledge about the company. The recruiter's demeanor was a bit impolite, and they made it seem like the role wasn't very significant within the organization. They focused on the downsides, like the difficulties of making cold calls and working remotely.
- How many cold calls are you currently making in your role?
- What is your current gross salary?
- How do you cover your rent?
