Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LifeWorks.
Office Administrator
It started with a phone screening call, then another more in-depth phone interview where they asked about my administrative experience and had me rate my proficiency in certain skills like Microsoft and Outlook. After that, there were situational questions. They said my info would be sent to a hiring manager who would contact me further. It felt like a long process for a small role, but the experience was alright. I probably wouldn't apply here again myself.
- How would you manage your tasks if a coworker needed help and you were already busy with something else?
- What would you do if a coworker required assistance and you were already handling a task?
- How would you deal with a client who was distressed?
Administrative Assistant
I applied online and then got a call about a week later. This call turned into a phone interview, and then they asked me to come in for an in-person interview the very next morning. It was so early the reception area was locked, and my interview started right when the office opened. The HR person I spoke with on the phone took me straight to the hiring manager's office. The HM looked at my resume (I think for the first time) while telling me about the job and its duties. I explained my experience and skills. The HR person never met with me again.
- What is your current residence?
Administrative Assistant
First I spoke with the recruiter, then I went onsite for an interview with the VP, and after that, I had follow up interviews onsite with two more senior leaders. All the interviews happened in the same week.
- What do you expect for your growth and future?
