I talked to a bunch of people from different teams, including the hiring manager, my potential teammates, and the recruiter. I also got to ask my own questions about what the job entails. The process included a presentation I gave to a panel of employees, and they asked me about my time in undergrad.

I spoke with HR, and they were great. The hiring manager conversation felt a bit off, probably because we were after different things. Within a week, HR let me know they were moving forward with other people. I appreciate them being upfront about it!

I found the job on Indeed and sent in my resume and cover letter. About a week later, a recruiter called me for a 30-minute phone screen to chat about my resume and experience. A few days after that, I had an interview with a Scientist on the team, and they asked me a bunch of questions about my grad school work and my skills. Finally, I had an onsite interview where I met with different research associates, scientists, and senior R&D folks. It was a bit intimidating, but everyone was super nice and seemed really excited about LifeMine's mission and what they're doing.
