I applied and got an interview with HR, where I had to share my availability. They didn't reply after I sent my availability, so I had to follow up. HR finally got back to me and we had our interview. During the call, HR said my qualifications were a great fit and that they'd set up an interview with the PI. They never got back to me, and I was rejected after sending two follow-up emails. I wish they'd been more upfront.

This job looked good on paper, and I got a referral from a recruiter. However, it was a really bad interview experience. The first person was aggressive and interrogated me. Once I proved my experience, they calmed down and wanted to introduce me to an executive. The executive criticized my resume, belittled me, lectured me, and then just left without saying thanks or shaking my hand. Be careful! I didn't send thank you notes this time. It seems like they've tried all the recruiting agencies to fill this. Another recruiter told me other candidates had similar experiences, so it wasn't just me.
