Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Life Time.
Operations
It was pretty easy. There were two interviews. The first one had a couple questions about your experience and availability. The second one was just a discussion with the general manager. Just don't overthink it and be yourself. Unless you say something really out of the ordinary, more than likely you will get the job, they need all the help they can get.
- Can you share an instance where you provided excellent customer service?
Operations
The interview was pretty simple and straightforward. They asked some basic questions and scenarios, including 'tell me about a time' type questions. They were mostly interested in hearing about your past experiences that would help you in this specific role.
- Why did you decide to join lifetime?
- Can you share an instance from your past where you encountered a difficulty?
- Tell me about a previous experience you had that you think will be helpful for this position.
Operations Supervisor
Terrible experience. I applied for this job, a management role, and a team services manager role a few months ago. I got emails saying the job was canceled, then it was posted again the next day. It seems like they can't deny candidates or the account managers posting the jobs aren't coordinated. This is a terrible process, especially for something simple like a gym. I can't even get an interview for jobs I'm easily qualified for.
- Can you tell me about your qualifications for this role?
- What makes you a good fit for the management position?
- What experience do you have that makes you suitable for the Team Services Manager role?
