Project Manager
The job was advertised as remote, and they asked for salary expectations upfront. After about 45 minutes, the recruiter mentioned the job is actually in person and the salary is half of what I asked for. Then she started talking about faith, saying the dishonesty was my fault for not having enough faith.
- We're offering half your requested salary and requiring you to relocate for a role you thought was remote. Are you okay with this?
Project Manager
The interview process was in 4 parts. First, a phone interview testing personality, critical thinking, and common sense. Then, a video interview. After that, an interview event spread over 3 days. Saturday evening involved a tour, attending a service, and dinner. Sunday morning included another tour, attending part of the services, and an office tour. Monday consisted of 8 station micro-interviews, a break with self-evaluation, introducing yourself to the group, a one-on-two interview, another break, and a final one-on-two interview.
- What might you have to give up or lose in order to work here?
Project Leader
It was an intense process but ultimately rewarding. The interviews, and even casual conversations like dinner, all served as part of the evaluation. High success rates are seen for those who complete it, with few not making it past 90 days. This rigorous process is in place to ensure the organization's overall success. Importantly, the interview process includes your spouse as well.
- How would you go about recruiting 50 Lifegroups within a two-month timeframe?
