Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lido.
Business Development Executive
It was a pretty straightforward interview. There were two rounds in total. They asked about sales scenarios and your previous sales experience. They also asked for background details, and some questions about the job description and the company.
- How would you close a sales deal by convincing the client?
- Tell me about your past experience in sales.
- What are your background details?
Business Development Executive
Good interview, just basic common questions. You should try if you are interested in this job. The package was basic, not that great for a fresher. - Could you state your name?
- Can you tell me about your educational background?
- What knowledge do you possess about sales?
Business Development Executive
One of the worst companies that visited our campus. Read till the end. We had two rounds of interviews. On the first day we were made to wait for 2 hours for the interviews start, thereafter the HR was quite cooperative. On the second round, it was Christmas Eve and the office was is celebration mode. The recruiter who was supposed to be interviewing us was sipping juice standing in front of us (maybe purposefully delaying the processing). We were called at 3pm and our interviews started at 6pm. During the interview, he just wanted to brag about the company (which I felt) and called us unprofessional and ended the interview on the second question itself. I reckon, the company should change their interview process and hire someone who's punctual (the most important thing which is lacking here).
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in sales?
